Pastor's Letter

Let me start by saying we would love to have you come worship with us! Welcome to First Baptist Church of Alturas. Our services provide an opportunity to have an encounter with our risen Lord Jesus Christ through worship, praise, preaching and the studying of God’s Word. We preach and teach the whole truth of God’s Word. Our outreach ministry and missions give us the chance to lead people to Christ.

We meet you where you are both spiritually and physically such as an outreach need with our food pantry. People of all ages are welcome to join us in their walk of spiritual growth. We are a family of believers who care about the whole person and their walk with the Lord.

I would like to invite you to come and join us for worship this Sunday or Wednesday. As you come and worship with us, our prayer for you is that you sense the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We hope you feel at home with the warmth of our family and fellowship.
